A particularly nice example, this pre-war Martin is in fabulous condition except for some repaired damage in the treble side, which can be improved upon. It's had a neck reset and is in 100% original condition, as far as we can tell. Fretboard and bridge are rosewood, as was done for a brief period in the mid-Thirties. The tone is shocking: like a much bigger instrument -- the bass is prodigious! The bridge has been shaved a bit on the treble side, but the overall height of the strings is appropriate to the instrument.
