A 14-fret 00+, long scale (25.4") beauty from one of our favorite luthiers, Howard Klepper of Bennett Springs, CA. Woods are Dalbergia tucarensis, a/k/a Panama or Guatemalan rosewood and old growth Carpathian spruce. Fretboard, bridge, and headstock veneer are Madagascar rosewood, the backstrip and end wedge are snakewood. Howard has set it up with cow or buffalo bone nut, camel bone saddle and buffalo horn bridge pins. Tuners are gold Waverlies with snakewood buttons. This is a vintage-like lightly built box, a loud, full & bright toned guitar, and we expect it to do extremely well as it gets played and broken-in.
