Product Description
A fabulous and rare OM style guitar from Philadelphia. The De Luccias were among the highly skilled instrument makers that emigrated from Italy to the East Coast mostly. The De Luccia family were prolific builders of violin, mandolin and guitar family instruments in Philadelphia. This guitar is particularly interesting to us since it is essentially an OM: 000 size, long scale and wider neck. The woods are spruce and walnut, which gives it great note definition and punch. We just reset the neck, so it plays like a dream.
Many of us first heard of this builder in the 1960's through it's use by John Herald of the Greenbriar Boys. We're thrilled to finally have one here.
