This, I believe, was the first of the Schoenberg Deluxes after the transition to California. It was built by Bruce Sexauer, and is certainly one of his finest efforts. The Schoenberg website says: "our unabashed emulation of one of the most beautiful guitars in the world. Since we have one of the originals, we are able to make ours as close to the original as is possible." This one is built out of the finest Brazilian rosewood and Engelmann spruce, and the tone is super rich, sweet, big and full. There is some finish wear on the top--but it doesn't in the least affect the guitar's gloriously fat singing treble.
