The very first electric guitar, with only 45 made, and very few known to exist. The body is laminated mahogany, made by Harmony of Chicago. The Ken Roberts model has a horse-shoe pickup, Doc Kauffman vibrato tailpiece with a compensated bridge. The pearloid peghead veneer has a brass logo plate with the old spelling of "Rickenbacher". The neck joins the body at the 17th fret (!) with a 25" scale . It's set up to play, and must be heard!
