Made sometime between 1897 and 1910, by the Elias Howe company?actually, his sons were running the business at the time the guitars and mandolinettos were made?this is a fine example of their unique steam bent cylinder arched top guitar with their adjustable and detachable guitar neck. It is parlor sized, in excellent condition and playability. It is an amazing sounding instrument: tons of volume, bright, full.
There is a little finish touch-up by the bridge, the top has been de-glossed, there is a small back crack and much smaller side crack. All-in-all, it is in excellent, solid, original condition.
