Franciso Manuel Fleta, elder brother of Ignacio Fleta, the esteemed classical guitar builder and a reknowned cello and bass maker in Barcelona, made a few archtop guitars. This is one of only a couple known. It's a large 18" wide with an oval soundhole, out of European spruce and figured walnut, and remains in original condition except for some replaced binding. Construction is extremely light; though larger than almost all other jazz boxes, it is under five pounds in weight. It's tone is as unique as the guitar is. Cavernous, responsive, with warmth throughout its range.
