Product Description

A fine and rare model, one of only around 30 made with the pre-1939 wider 1 3/4" nut width and higher X-brace, with around 100 14-fret 000-42s in total. It's in excellent original condition, been played a bunch so shows a fair amount of finish wear, and has only one crack, a barely visible pickguard hairline, all parts are original, braces are clean and beautiful, the frets are replaced (originals are in the case, for those that care about such things for some reason) and the neck has been reset by Billy Asher of LA. The sound of this guitar is something to behold!
