Product Description
Martin's top-of-the-line model, made in three sizes at the time, the 00 being the middle size. Style 45 is bound at every edge with ivoroid and abalone or pearl, with the classic "torch" inlay on the peghead, and snowflake inlays on the fretboard. Only the best materials aailable were used, wood being Brazilian rosewood and Adirondack or European spruce. All this was done in Martin's careful and conservative approach, resulting in a very fancy, yet tasteful and artistic way. These are by far the most beautiful, high quality guitare being made at the time. This one came to us from the family of it's long time owner in Bear Lake, CA, was restored fully by us to maximum health and playability without compromising the uniqueness and specialness of its original quality. It's all original except for a forgery grade bridge, there are several top cracks below the bridge, and otherwise it is in excellent condition.
