Product Description

A sweet and strong sounding acoustic archtop, well used and now in excellent condition. Back, Sides and neck are maple and all parts are original, including the Frequensator tp and tuners. There are two solidly repaired cracks, one in the top and one in the back, and three potentiometer holes in the pickguard have been filled with saddle conchos. The neck is straight, the rod works great, and the action is very low. The original owner was cartoonist Elwood Smith whose work has appeared on covers and pages of Time, NY Times, Newsweek, WaPo and others.
