Product Description
A very rare late white-face A-3 from the Loar years. It has the truss rod, but didn't get the snakehead, probably because Gibson was using an older neck, as evidenced by the truss rod cover hiding part of the peghead inlay. The finish is also different in that is more of a cream color than the whiter pre-Loar A-3s. It's experienced, meaning it's been played and traveled a bunch, though still all good. Lot's of typical Gibson finish checking in the top, a few small dings around the edge and wear in the back and sides finish, some deep grooves in the lower frets, no cracks, straight neck, very low action and super nice original hard shell case.
