Product Description
The Gibson ES-355 Stereo was officially introduced in 1959 (although a few were shipped out in 1958) and was popularized by players like Chuck Berry and Freddie King. The walnut finish is in excellent condition. The neck and frets are in fantastic shape, featuring an ebony fretboard and bound neck with block inlay. This guitar is mostly original as the bridge pickup was recently re-wound by Lindy Fralin to original vintage specs. This 355 has a Varitone Stereo switch, Lyre Tremolo and original nylon saddle bridge. The 355 is very comfortable player with a fast and glassy feeling neck. This sweetie pumps out classic rock and blues licks like a dream.
