Product Description
From Bruce Potter of Willits, CA, a highly skilled luthier who's goals are building fingerstyle steel string guitars with lasting sustain, a sensitivity to a light touch, a rich, focused bass and bell-like trebles and that will last for generations. He builds one at a time entirely by hand with an annual production of less than 10 guitars. This one has a sinker redwood top and Brazilian rosewood back and sides, with ebony binding & bevel, Brazilian rosewood bridge and fretboard and a striking spalted maple rosette. Tonally it has achieved all of the maker's goals and more: the response is fast and rich, and with a silky treble. Neck shape is a fairly full "C" shape.
