Product Description
A fine, plain but fine quality A model in surprisingly good nick, (Brit for "condition) with a refinished back, original finish everywhere else, except that looking at our photo of the neck, there's a very faint evidence of a possible crack that's not visible looking at the mandolin itself until it's put under a very bright light. If it is a crack, it's either a slight check in the wood before the neck was carved that shows up now after a century, or it's an amazing repair. Either way, it has absolutely no effect on the instrument now in any way. Tonewise, it's exceptionally resonant, with a wide-open sound, plenty of richness and volume.
